Losing my Virginity - Richard Branson

These days it’s hard to miss such a prominent figure like Richard Branson, so it’s just as hard to walk past an autobiography that promises to share the secrets of his success without sparking a little curiosity. And I was not disappointed.

This book weaves through Richard Branson’s life, from humble beginnings as Student magazine, to the worldwide phenomenon he is today, and all the crazy stuff in between like world record hot air ballooning, business struggles with ruthless competitors to insights in to the lives of rock stars that Virgin music were trying to sign or record.

This novel is fun and very well written to hold your attention, and if I hadn’t already hear tiny bits and pieces in the media, I probably wouldn’t have believed all that could happen in one man’s life! (although keeping in mind that there are now at least two other books that follow this one, though I highly doubt they could be more exciting and inspiring as this original.)

Once I started this book I was hooked. It’s not the kind of book I could read more than once, but it is definitely one that I would recommend to others.
